Responsibilities
Join Our Magical Team as a Stage Manager for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"!
Are you ready to dive into a world of pure imagination? We are seeking a dynamic Stage Manager to join our enchanting production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"! As the heart and soul of our backstage operations, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing the magic to life.

Coordinate the work of the stage crew with finesse and precision.

Mark blocking and be on script during rehearsals to ensure seamless performances.

Call cues and possibly actors' entrances during the exhilarating live shows.

Collaborate with the director to schedule rehearsals and notify all involved parties of important dates and times.

Mark out the dimensions of the set on the stage, transforming it into our fantastical world.

Ensure rehearsal props and furnishings are ready for our talented actors.

Attend all rehearsals, bringing your passion and expertise to every moment.

Oversee the entire spectacle each time it graces the stage, ensuring every moment sparkles.

Experience & Education
-
Previous experience as a Stage Manager in a professional theater or performing arts setting

Strong knowledge of theater production processes and terminology

Proficiency in stage management software (e.g., Show Cue System)

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Familiarity with ballet or dance productions is a plus

COVID-19 considerations:
We have transitioned to a mask-optional policy in common areas of the studio, but teachers set the policy for maks in their lessons. We installed air purifiers in each classroom. Students that are symptomatic should test and reschedule when needed.
